Bulletproof
Release date: March 26th
BRDN returns with their latest single, “Bulletproof,” an atmospheric Indietronica/Indie Dance anthem set to release on March 26.
Borrowing elements from Electronica, modern House, Trip Hop & Synthpop, the song offers a fresh interpretation of modern electro pop, without sacrificing its catchy appeal.
The dual vocals bring a tender yet raw dialogue, as if two souls are trying — and failing — to bridge the distance that’s grown between them. Surrounding these voices is a carefully crafted production of warm analog synths, sharp electronic textures, and a steady beat that propels the emotional core of the song forward, building to moments that are as explosive as they are delicate. The result is a song that exists in duality—both melancholic and euphoric, introspective yet pulsating with kinetic energy.
At its heart, “Bulletproof” reflects on the quiet dread of knowing a conversation’s inevitable end, yet prolonging it for as long as possible to avoid hearing the answer you fear most. It’s about holding onto moments of connection that feel increasingly rare — and how time seems to move faster the more precious those moments become.
BRDN brings these emotions to life through a soundscape that is as achingly vulnerable as it is rhythmically compelling, offering a track that is equal parts danceable and devastating. “Bulletproof” feels like a secret whispered in a crowded room — a confession wrapped in melody, hiding in plain sight.
Artist bio
In their blend of alt pop and electronica, artist-producer BRDN (pronounced burden), combines powerful synth-structures and dreamy guitars with soft vocal sequences and driving beats. Superimposed vocals in different vocal colours lay over the music like a broken yet mesmerising veil. Woven soundscapes take the listener to the dark side of introspection: self-doubt and the golden hunt for a purpose melt into musical fever dreams with room for interpretation.
Live-performances, usually presented as a duo, are intimate, “fragile & genuine” and open a direct window into the artist’s inner workings and showcase the artist’s ability to effortlessly jump between genre and tone without losing the core quality of this eclectic project.

Lyrics
Parade a flock
Of living shields around You pretend
You haven ́t noticed
I double my effort
Blindspots
In the limelight
Our synapses
Can ́t separate
The frequencies of secrets
Tell me again
This glass is bulletproof
While I only ever
Dream of you
The seconds
They seem paper thin
And razorsharp
Around their edges
Let us see
How long the curtain holds
Every stage
Has got it ́s limits
Only you and I
Can see the cracks
Ballistic words
Be done with it
Ballistic words Be done with it
Tell me again
This glass is bulletproof
While I only ever
Dream of you
Tell me again
This glass is bulletproof
While I only ever
Dream of you
Tell me again
This glass is bulletproof
While I only ever
Dream of you
The seconds
They seem paper thin
And razorsharp
Around their edges
Let us see
How long the curtain holds
Every stage
Has got it ́s limits
Only you and I
Can see the cracks
Ballistic words
Be done with it
Done with it
